Devil's Hopyard Waterfall

Yesterday we asked Ian what he wanted to do. He said he wanted to go see a waterfall so we got on the computer and looked up places that had waterfalls and decided on Devil's Hopyard State Park.

We had a great time. The falls were great and Ian really enjoyed them. Ian wanted to stay and have lunch there but we didn't think enough ahead to bring food so we stayed for a while and then went and got lunch on the way home.

On a side note, we drove different ways to and from the park and both ways we ended up driving a couple of miles on single lane dirt road. I didn't know Connecticut still had dirt through roads, I thought any left must be pretty much dead ends. It almost felt like I was driving in England except there were no hedge-rows on the sides.
